With reference to the shipment of 600 packages

Will and Gotton which we intended to skip by your 6.8. "Kaiphong"

to Haiphong we regrat to say that this morning we have received

a letter from the Agents at Haiphong inforning us that the

Consignees have reninded then that it is serential that their

goods be transhipped into a French steamer at Hongkong and provided

with the French Consular's Certificate of transhipment so as to

anable then to pay a minimum tariff on Import duty. Under the

circumstances therefore we will be obliged if you will allow us

to cancel our booking and return kerewith the Shipping Orders and

Bills of Lading forme.
